The Woman Behind the Legacy
Teresia Waihuini Foundation (TWF) is established to carry on the dreams and life ideals of the late Teresia Waihuini Mwangi, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Teresia was a passionate advocate for education, environmental conservation, and community development. She believed in the power of compassion and collective action to transform lives and communities.
Leadership & Peace Promotion
In line with Teresia's attribute of being a peace ambassador wherever she went, the foundation identifies and supports opportunities to promote peaceful community co-existence and local leadership development.

Environment Conservation & Sustainability
TWF works in areas of community engagement that support environmental concertation and sustainability.
As one way to ensure its sustainability, the foundation engages in community led income generating activities.

Education Support
The foundation endeavours to scout and support children from less privileged background who are gifted academically as well as those with identifiable non-academic gifts and talents.
To do this, the foundation undertakes a holistic view rather than the traditional, academics performance criteria. The foundation also works to mentor all its beneficiaries by identifying a network of volunteer mentors as necessary.
